A great excuse to dress up in your festive finery and join us on the water. Our annual charity Santa SUP is a super fun, festive fundraising paddle raising money for charity. Fancy dress compulsory (but you don’t need to be Santa!)
This year’s event is raising money for Bristol based charity and long time SUP Bristol partner, Frank Water.
Water underpins everything – and whilst we’re out enjoying a paddle, shockingly one in ten still don’t have even access to fresh water to drink. Frank Water’s vision is a world where everyone, everywhere has enough safe water to stay healthy, sustain their livelihoods and unlock their potential.
And the best thing is that all bookings before 10th December are matchfunded as part of the Big Give Christmas Challenge!

Timings – Saturday 14 Dec 2024
2-4 pm approx depending on weather – then drinks at the Cottage (beer and coffee is mostly water after all!)
Clothing – Please dress for the weather. We’re planning on being on the water rather than in it so we recommend warm non-cotton layers and jackets. Layer up! Alternatively, a winter wetsuits will keep you toasty warm too. We have optional 3/2 wetsuit and jackets available but you’ll be way warmer if you layer up.
Previous experience – We’ll have instructors on the water at all times but if you’re hiring a board from us we expect you to have paddled with us before and be confident paddling in the conditions on the day. If you’re not sure please get in touch first.
Price – £20 pp donation to charity. Because our aim is making as much as we can for charity, this event isn’t included in memberships and passes.
