WSA SUP Instructor Training Course

£250.00

This course is designed for those who wish to teach SUP basics to beginners and improvers in a sheltered water environment. The course is very hands on with lots of practical training. You will learn essential safety information, gain knowledge of equipment, group management and lesson delivery content and skills to effectively get clients paddling.

You will leave the course being able to plan sessions and deliver them working within the structure of a school or centre. You will be assessed on your technical paddling skills and lesson delivery. Those who are “at standard” will be awarded the qualification. Candidates who do not meet the required standard will be given an action plan and will have to present them themselves for assessment at a later stage once skills have been consolidated. There is an additional £150 charge for this reassessment.

This course is designed to be combined with a WSA SUP Safety and Rescue training course (delivered the day before). The course is both dry and wet in content and is a practical and theoretical course.
