People of Colour Paddle: Bristol Taster Session
We are hosting a subsidised taster session for people of colour based in Bristol City Centre.
People of Colour Paddle is coming to Bristol! The session is organised and led by the founder Adya Misra.
We want you to have the best introduction to stand up paddleboarding, and hope that we you will continue participating in this amazing sport in future. All follow-up and advice will be managed by email so please share your email address if you haven’t already shared with the founder.

- Basic paddling – forwards, backwards and turning
- Launching safely
- Showers and changing facilities (now reopened)

- Small group sizes (8 maximum)

Fee: Free! We’ll charge an £8 booking fee. This is fully refundable after the session unless you feel you’re able to contribute.

Towel, clothes to wear on the water, dry clothing, old trainers/watershoes, suncream, drinking water
All SUP equipment, expert SUP tuition, secure storage, changing rooms.

These sessions are for adults only. For under 18s please book a family session or contact us about youth sessions.
You'll need to be fit to take part in moderate exercise. Our boards have a maximum weight limit of 120 kg.
