Discover Bantham (Guided SUP Day Trip)

£100.00

Discover Britain’s spectacular coastline by paddleboard. This is our shortest sea excursion and a great chance to travel 6km with tidal assistance out into Bantham bay and the spectacular view of Burgh Island and Bigbury on Sea.

Starting in Aveton Gifford we’ll use the tide to help us on our route. Initially navigating moored boats, we’ll enjoy the clear, wide meandering sandy bottomed estuary through the early stages of the paddle. This paddle travels through South Devon’s AONB protected countryside and is a privileged to enjoy from the water.

We’ll pull our boards onto the banks for lunch before experiencing the exhilarating phenomenon of the narrowing estuary. The outgoing tide adds a little pace through the narrower reaches of the estuary and powers us through the last part of the paddle and onto the glorious sands of Bigbury-on-Sea. It’s a super fun way to arrive at the sea!
