SUP and camp on Brownsea Island

Sat 24 Aug – Mon 26 Aug 2019

Fancy paddling to a small, beautiful island where you can pitch your tent and watch the sun set? Come and join us this August bank holiday for a weekend of tranquil wonder. Brownsea Island is a stunning wildlife sanctuary that offers a world of wilderness and adventure, all within Poole Harbour.

We will meet on the mainland and voyage together to our island home for the weekend. Once on the island there is heaps to explore and you can swim, paddle or run around exploring the various pockets of delight. Brownsea being the home of Scouting, we will set up our tents for the evening and light the campfire.

When the crowds leave on the last boat, the campers have free rein which is a special and exciting part of the weekend. Expect phenomenal sunsets, red squirrels and Sika deer.

This is a truly magical weekend of escape. Depending on conditions we will spend the Sunday paddling in or out of the Harbour, exploring the Jurassic Coast and it’s incredible wildlife.
